The restoration of passenger train service to Cape Cod and Hyannis from New York and Boston has been discussed for over a decade. In November 2009, Cape Rail announced a proposal to operate service as far as Sandwich on Cape Cod. Seasonal service already operated between Sandwich and Hyannis. |

Cape Rail has now published their 2010 passenger train schedules. Saturday services will no longer stop at Sandwich. As a result, the Saturday-only Cranberry service will not operate in 2010. |
